Cross Card!

Every year I make my friend Kelly a birthday card. However I don’t just make any card though, she will give me a idea of what kind of card she wants and I make the card off of that.  Last year she wanted a Chicago Blackhawks cards which not going to lie I’d say is to this day one of my favorite cards! I posted that card a couple days ago so you can check that card out here! This year I asked her what kind of card she wanted and she gave meone word; crosses.  First thing I thoughtwas crosses, really? How was I supposed to make a card of crosses!? I knew I wanted glitter (obviously) and I knew I needed crosses and it had to be a birthday card so I thought about what kind of card I wanted to make.  This is what I came up with! I would say I am quite pleased with this card, I love how this card turned out with the crosses!
I hope you guys enjoyed this card!
Happy Birthday Kelly!

Chicago Blackhawks Card!

One of my really good friend’s birthday is coming up this next week so before I share the card I made for her this year, I wanted to share the card I made her last year.  She is a die-hard Chicago Blackhawks fan so I made her a Blackhawks card and I was very satisfied with the result of the card.  This has got to be one of my favorite cards because its not super original and "like every other card" and my favorite part of the card would have to be the hockey sticks and the Blackhawk logo and the black glitter and the red paper and the well lets just say I really like this card!  Well I just wanted to share this card with you guys! Hope you guys enjoyed this one! Also keep a look out for the birthday card I made her this year which will be posted on friday!

Valentines Day!

Valentines Day may not be an official holiday but it would have to be one of my favorite days of the year! There are the happy couples holding hands and laughing and doing al this gosh darn adorable stuff, and then there are the people that spend there nights watching the notebook and shoving their faces with Ben & Jerry’s (which is totally acceptable!)  I personally have a soft spot for Valentines Day because its one of those days where so many people are so happy and in love and not to mention everything is red and pink and glittery! Valentines Day is my favorite day to make cards for because hearts plus glitter is bound to end in an amazing creation! So the card I made this year are waterfall cards! Shocker. You guys know how much I love my waterfall cards, so I made two variations of these cards and I absolutely adore both of them! I hope you guys have a great valentines day no mater what you end up doing! Hope these cards brought a little love to you on this happy day!
Happy Valentines Day!

So happy for you!

It feel like i haven't posted in forever! It has actually been a whole month, my last post was January 23rd and today is February 23rd.  Well i actually made this card a few days ago and one again i was inspired by Dawn McVey.  My card is actually a lot different, I love love the colors of this card as well as the quotes paper.  However my favorite part of this card has to be the ribbons, i love the look of ribbons missed together and how they contrast each other.  I kept the colors of the card very simple and straightforward; pink and white. I put together different shades of pink mixed with white, and i am really happy with the way it turned out! I really hope you guys enjoyed this card!

Thanks with love!

My first blog post of 2012! Only 23 days into the New Year... I had so much fun making this card, not only because I had to come up with clever ways to make it look like the card I was inspired by, but also because it is such a fun and bright card! With this gloomy weather we are having up in the Midwest states this card just brightens up my day! My inspiration was by a card created by Dawn Mcvey, my card is very similar to hers which is what I was going for but the paper is different and also I did not have the die that she used so I just did all the pieces by hand to my card…let me tell you the leaf thing on the top was not easy whatsoever. I am really happy with how the card turned out though and I am in love with the color combination! Looks like I will be experimenting with some bright color combinations soon, which I cannot wait for.  This picture of my card here has been instagramed! Yes, I have been addicted for a while now but I never knew if I wanted to post pictures instagramed on my blog especially of cards but I just love this card looks with a little bit of color! I hope this card brightened up your day even if you don’t live in a Midwest state! (:

"So happy for you" (Boy)

I loved the "so happy for you" baby girl card...So I decided to make a "so happy for you" baby boy card! It is the same card as yesterdays but different colors and obviously for a boy rather than a girl. Also the "boy" is different how "girl" is on the other card! Well i just wanted to share this card with you guys! so i hope you guys liked this one!

So happy For You! (Girl)

Once again, bringing out the old cards & revamping them up. The original card i created is this one (click) which is a congrats baby boy card, the card that i created from that is a "so happy for you" baby girl card! I personally like the newer card just a tad bit more because i like the way it says "it's a Girl"! It is a very simple yet cute card that I'm sure any new mother would love to receive! hope you guys enjoyed this card!

Indian Engagment Card!

As i posted earlier i have been bringing alot of my old cards back and this just happens to be one! Yes, this is not a typical colored card, this card was actually for an Indian engagement party and if you didn't already know Indian (wedding) events normally consists of many golds and reds and greens and especially maroon and so i wanted to portray all those in this card. It is a congratulations (best wishes) on getting engaged for the bride & groom and i really liked how it turned out. Its simple yet very elegant in the Indian sense! so hope you guys enjoyed this card!
ps. I am working on my Etsy cards so those links will be up really soon!

Fathers day card!

I hope you guys had a great fathers day weekend! I just wanted to quickly share my fathers day card for my dad that i created. I was completely lost at what type of card to make and finally (after a very long time) i came up with this idea.  I normally don't like when there is so much going on in a card but in this card i feel as though it all works, there are so many different aspects of this card but they are all so spread out.  The first D & A are from the same letter collection but the A is glittered which is why you can see all the color glimmering in the lights & the last D is from a different collection. Overall i ended up really liking this card and my dad also loved it! Just wanted to share this with you! hope you guys enjoyed this card & had a lovely fathers day!
